We are proud to sponsor Alex Sinclair Racing in collaboration with Louigi Moto Ltd during their 2025 race at the Manx Grand Prix. This summer marked Alex Sinclair’s 11th visit to the Isle of Man, a place steeped in racing heritage. While Alex is usually seen competing on classic machinery, this year the team focused solely on the modern Aprilia 660 Super twin, taking advantage of the new race schedule which saw the Manx GP run ahead of the Classic races.

The first week brought glorious sunshine, ideal conditions for racing and preparation. Alongside the Aprilia, the team utilised two Triumph 675s to gain extra practice laps and preserve the Aprilia for race day, especially with a promising race number 5 seeding.

Pre-Race Testing and Launch Tech UK Products

Earlier testing at Aberdare Park confirmed the bikes were in excellent condition. As part of our sponsorship, Launch Tech UK provided Cooling System Sealant, which was put to the test in the extreme heat. The Aprilia, known for coolant issues, performed flawlessly keeping its contents exactly where they should be.

We also supplied our Petrol System Performance Plus additive, which has proven effective in eliminating the small beads of water caused by ethanol breakdown in modern fuels. This issue often leads to overheating lambda sensors and fault codes, but our additive helped maintain smooth performance throughout.

Expanding Our Chemical Solutions – ATF & DPF Range

In addition to our cooling and fuel system products, Launch Tech UK offers a comprehensive range of Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) treatments and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) cleaning solutions. These products are designed to support both preventative maintenance and performance restoration in modern vehicles.

  • Our ATF chemical range helps reduce transmission wear, improve shifting smoothness, and extend fluid life.
  • Our DPF solutions assist in breaking down soot and carbon build-up, helping restore exhaust flow and reduce regeneration cycles—ideal for vehicles operating under high load or short-cycle conditions.

These products are trusted by technicians across the UK and are now being tested in motorsport environments to demonstrate their effectiveness under extreme conditions.

Race Highlights

With practice underway, Alex was confident, and the team morale was high. The experienced crew settled into their roles seamlessly.

Saturday 23rd – MGP Super twin Race

Starting on fresh tyres, Alex took time to find grip, which cost a few seconds early on. Despite fierce competition, he held 5th place until the final lap when a flashing temperature warning prompted caution. Alex eased off and brought the bike home safely in 7th place overall, averaging 113.19mph, just 30 seconds behind the winner after three laps including a mandatory pit stop. Top speed at Sulby speed trap: 151mph.

Monday 25th – MGP Junior Race

Using lightly scrubbed tyres to improve early pace, Alex initially dropped to 10th, but with revised cooling and airflow strategies, he fought back to 6th overall. A slick pit stop—second fastest of the race—helped maintain momentum. At the chequered flag, Alex crossed the line third on the road, achieving a personal best average speed of 114.686mphSulby speed trap: 153mph, making it the second fastest machine of the race.

Celebrating Success

The team attended the awards evening with pride, where Alex received two silver replicas for his outstanding efforts.
