9. Do LAUNCH diagnostic tools come with a warranty?

All LAUNCH equipment is supplied with a manufacturer warranty. Warranty periods vary by product—details are included on each product page.

Yes. Our UK-based technical support team help with diagnostics, software, registration, and hardware issues. 

11. How do I register my device for warranty or software updates?

Software & Updates

12. How long do software updates last?

Most devices include a 1–2-year software subscription. Renewal options are available through our website.

13. How do I update my X-431 device?

Updates are delivered via Wi-Fi. Simply log in to your LAUNCH account on the device and navigate to the update menu. 

14. What happens if my update subscription expires?

 Your tool will still work, but you won’t receive new vehicle coverage or software improvements until the subscription is renewed. Contact our helpful team for more information.

15. Do you offer ADAS calibration equipment?

Yes. LAUNCH provides both static and dynamic ADAS solutions compatible with a wide range of vehicle manufacturers. 

16. Can LAUNCH tools perform coding and programming?

Many models support advanced ECU coding, adaptations, resets, and service functions. Full capabilities vary by model. 

Repairs & Returns

17. What should I do if my device stops working?

Please contact our technical support team first. If a repair is required, we will provide instructions for returning the unit to an authorised service centre.

18. Do you offer loan equipment during repair?

Loan units may be available depending on the product and warranty status.

19. Do you provide training for LAUNCH products?

Yes. We offer online tutorials, in-person sessions, and technician resources through our training partners.

20. Where can I find user manuals and software guides?

All manuals and guides are available to download from the Support section of our website.

21. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit/debit cards, bank transfer, and authorised purchase orders for trade customers. We only accept BACS transfer on selected items purchased at our sales office in Milton Keynes, please contact us to book an appointment.

22. How do I check if a seller is authorised?

Our website includes a list of official UK & Ireland distributors. If a seller is not listed, please assume they are not authorised. Alternatively contact us to verify if a seller is an official seller offering UK based warranty and support.

23. Can I become an authorised distributor or reseller?

26. Are LAUNCH tools compatible with electric and hybrid vehicles?

Yes. The latest diagnostic platforms support EV and hybrid systems, including battery data, inverter diagnostics, and system resets.

27. Do your ADAS systems work with electric vehicles?

Yes. ADAS systems are compatible with EV and hybrid models that require calibration after windscreen replacement, sensor replacement, or alignment changes.

Returns & Cancellations

28. Can I cancel an order before it ships?

Yes. Contact us as soon as possible to cancel your order before dispatch.

29. What is your returns policy?

Unused products may be returned within the stated returns window. Diagnostic tools must be unopened and unregistered due to software activation. View our returns page for further information.

Device Management

30. Can I transfer my software licence to a new device?

Software licences cannot be transferred between devices, as each licence is linked to the tool’s serial number.

31. What happens if I forget my LAUNCH account login?

Your login can be reset through the “Forgot Password” option on the device or customer portal.

32. Do you recycle or dispose of old equipment?

We offer guidance on disposing of electronic waste and old workshop equipment in line with WEEE regulations.
