CAT-601S TRASMISSION FLUID EXCHANGER
The CAT-601S CleanGEAR from LAUNCH is an automatic transmission flusher and fluid exchanger designed to enable quick and efficient cleaning and re-oiling of transmissions.
The unit can be supplied with a comprehensive range of optional ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) adapters, allowing connection to most transmission systems, including dual-clutch and CVT types.
It can also be connected to a LAUNCH X-431 diagnostic device via the optional CAT app, enabling remote control of the system’s main functions.
Waste Oil Sampling
Take a sample of the oil from the gearbox, for example for testing purposes, before beginning the oil change process.
Add Detergent
Add detergent to the automatic transmission (AT). Once the vehicle engine is started, the system will automatically begin the cleaning cycle.
Exchange
Drain the transmission oil from the vehicle and add new oil to the transmission. The used oil is automatically drained into the oil tank. This mode provides direct input and vehicle selection.
Setting the Fluid Level
Provides support when filling or draining oil for fixed-gearbox systems.

Features
Transmission oil change with precision
The CAT-601S from LAUNCH enables transmission fluid to be changed precisely with the aid of integrated weight and volume measurement. The technician is guided step by step through the CAT-601S CleanGEAR programme.
Oil sampling made easy
A small amount of oil can be extracted via an outlet valve on the side of the unit. This enables the technician to assess the quality of the transmission fluid both before and after the flushing process.
ATF Database
The optionally available ATF database contains all essential information on vehicles, transmission specifications and adaptation points, providing optimum support for the technician when working with the CAT-601S CleanGEAR.
CAT app / remote control
The CAT app, available within the software of the LAUNCH X-431 product series, allows remote control of the main process sequences via the diagnostic device. This enables a technician to carry out a complete gearbox flushing process independently.
Numerous optional adaptor packages
The CAT-601S can be supplied with a comprehensive range of optional adaptors, allowing connection to most transmission systems, including dual-clutch and CVT transmissions.
Cleaning with cleaning agent
A suitable cleaning agent is required to clean the gearbox, which must be added to the CAT-601S before the flushing process begins. The vehicle engine should then be started and left to idle for approximately 10 minutes. During this time, the transmission gears should be engaged and shifted several times.
