The Future is now
Here at Launch Tech UK, we look forward to the future of our industry with great anticipation. And it is our greatest pleasure to allow the future ceiling-raisers hands-on experience with professional-standard equipment while their careers are in their infancy.
Launch Tech UK partnered with Boston College in an effort to develop and positively influence the next era of automotive and motorcycle engineers. Launch Tech UK donated an Euro Motorcycle MOT IV diagnostic machine to Boston College, an educational institute based in Lincolnshire that first opened its doors in 1964.
This donation of equipment furthers Launch Tech UK’s ongoing commitment to supporting, growing, and innovating the automotive industry. Launch Tech UK believes that this donation will help bridge the gap between real-world, hands-on application and classroom learning, allowing students to graduate with the expertise and technical knowledge necessary in today’s automotive sector.

A Valuable Addition
The Launch Tech UK Euro Motorcycle MOT IV diagnostic tool provided by Launch Tech UK was received with open arms and sincere gratitude by Alan Leighton, a lecturer in motorcycle engineering at Boston College, who instantly put it to good use.
“Using the Launch Motorbike tool, our students were able to identify a range of issues across several motorcycles. Notably, we found faults in three batteries, each showing only 18-30% remaining life. One of the most valuable aspects was being able to access and demonstrate live data. This gave our students real-world insight into how diagnostics are used in professional settings and greatly enhanced their learning experience …it’s making a real difference in the development of our students and department.” This glowing endorsement is greatly appreciated by Alan who takes great pride in the development and growth of his students.
The Euro Motorcycle MOT IV is one of the most advanced tools in the Launch range of products and equipment. Its offering of a comprehensive coverage of the leading motorcycle manufacturers, some of its many features include Bluetooth connectivity, live data streaming, actuator testing, and fault-code testing and clearing. With these functions students can simulate real-world issues and then diagnose, process and fix these issues. The Euro Motorcycle MOT IV helps students understand the latest digital diagnostic equipment, a skill that is increasingly vital with the automotive industry moves towards to fully computerised vehicle systems.

By donating equipment and tools and engaging with educational institutions like Boston College, Launch Tech UK hopes to inspire students to tackle this evolving industry with passion, determination and confidence based on using professional equipment.
