The Launch C Recorder II is delivered with access to important software updates that we send out via the internet. Easily updated via a USB link to your PC, you never need to be without the latest software for your device.
On our website we’ve posted a useful video guide to updating your C Recorder software, but there are a few things you will need to prepare before logging on. First you will need the Unit Serial Number from your C Recorder device to hand, and an open internet browser at www.crecorder.com. Once at the website click on ‘Register C Recorder’ and you will be prompted to fill out a form with all of your information, details of your car diagnostic tool and log in details for the C Recorder website. Be sure to create a memorable username and a secure password as you will need these details to access future software updates.
Once you have completed these steps you will be allowed access to the C Recorder download centre, where all of the latest updates will be available to you. Watch our step-by-step five-minute video on how to download and install the software to familiarise yourself with the simple process. Once your software is updated your device is ready for use!
