The Manx Grand Prix is a grand challenge for any experienced rider. Every twist and turn matters. The Isle of Man’s legendary mountain course is the single most deadly racing circuit in the world. With 37.73 miles of stone walls, narrow roads, and ever-changing conditions. Riders likes Alex Sinclair put everything on the line. It requires every ounce of bravery, grit and courage they possess.
Here at Launch Tech UK, we don’t take credit for lap times or podiums. That is solely down to the rider. However, we are extremely proud of the important role our tools have played in helping Alex and his team prepare for a challenging event like this.

In any form of racing, reliability is everything. In a sport where the riders are pushing their machine to the very limit for almost an hour. Any fault, whether it be, electrical, sensorial, or mechanical, could mean the difference in finishing a strong position or not finishing at all.
This is precisely where our diagnostic tools, like the Launch X-431 range, come in. Alex’s crew were able to scan, check, and ensure his modern Asprilla RS660 Super twin was running exactly as it should. The security and freedom provided through the diagnostic equipment allows focus to shift onto the finer details of their setup, like tyre pressure which can be checked by the Launch ITPMS Scanner which comes with 12 sensors.

The equipment utilised by Alex’s team at the Manx GP is the very same technology readily available to workshops and garages across the UK. These range from advanced diagnostic tools to tyre pressure monitoring devices. These tools are specifically designed to save time, prevent costly mistakes, and build confidence. The location of where these devices are used can be anywhere you need them.

Ultimately, the races are won by the riders and drivers, not the tools. However, behind every good result and performance is a network of supportive crew and equipment that leaves nothing to chance. At the 2025 Manx GP. Alex Sinclair flew around the track, showing great pace and skill. We are proud that our tools were a part of the unseen preparation that helped him ride with confidence. Here at Launch Tech UK, we’ll keep doing what we do best: providing the technology that helps riders, mechanics, and garages unlock performance, catch issues before they become problems, and give every machine the chance to deliver its best.
During practice and qualifying, Sinclair’s bike ran consistently and smoothly. The diagnostic data provided by our tools and equipment allowed his team to respond quickly to the unique demands the difficult terrain the course provided, whether those demands were internal temperature changes or making sure the electronics were stable across all laps.
Of course, none of that replaces what happens once the rider is on the track. The focus and skill shown by Alex Sinclair was the true difference maker. But having confidence in the bike underneath him allowed him to focus wholeheartedly on his racing lines, and breaking points.
