Launch UK, the only genuine supplier of the renowned brand of Launch diagnostic equipment to the UK, was for the second year running a proud sponsor at the ‘Garage of the Year’ awards at an eveningdinner on 5 June, hosted by Automechanika Birmingham.
Sponsoring ‘Garage Owner of the Year’, one of the new categories for 2019, Launch UK attended the event, held at the National Motorcycle Museum, sponsored by the Independent Garage Association (IGA) and run in partnership with Garage Wire. The awards had nine categories in total, three more than 2018, with the winner of each category announced at the dinner which took place after the middle day of Automechanika Birmingham.
All category finalists were invited to attend, with the ‘Garage Owner of the Year’ accolade going to Lorraine Amor, owner of Reading-based Amors Auto Solutions.
Avia Autos in Bridgend was announced as the overall ‘Garage of the Year’ winner, who was awarded the £1000 cash prize.
Last year Launch UK sponsored the ‘Best Community Initiative’ category, which was won by AutoCare Garage Network’s The Garage Whitburn in Bathgate, Scotland.
